Opt In Policy

BackApp SMS Opt-In and Messaging Consent Policy

Operated by SLF Management Solutions System, LLC

Effective Date: October 13, 2025

1. Purpose

BackApp is a healthcare staffing platform that connects eligible healthcare professionals with available staffing opportunities at participating healthcare facilities.

This SMS Opt-In and Messaging Consent Policy explains how BackApp obtains consent to send text messages and how recipients can manage their messaging preferences.

2. Types of SMS Notifications

Healthcare professionals who opt in to receive BackApp SMS notifications may receive messages regarding:

  • Urgent staffing requests and available shifts.

  • Shift claim confirmations and waiting-list updates.

  • Shift cancellations, changes, and fulfillment notices.

  • Upcoming shift reminders and scheduling updates.

  • Important account, operational, and staffing-related notifications.

Messages are primarily transactional and operational in nature, relating to the recipient’s participation in BackApp.

3. How Users Opt In

Healthcare professionals may opt in to receive SMS notifications by providing their mobile phone number and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages during BackApp registration, account activation, or enrollment.

Consent is obtained through an unchecked checkbox or another clear, affirmative consent mechanism. Consent is recorded for verification purposes.

Providing a phone number alone does not constitute SMS consent.

4. SMS Consent Statement

By selecting the SMS consent checkbox, I agree to receive automated text messages from BackApp, operated by SLF Management Solutions System, LLC, regarding urgent staffing opportunities, shift confirmations, cancellations, reminders, and related account notifications at the mobile number provided.

Message frequency varies depending on staffing activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

5. Message Frequency

The number of messages received varies based on available staffing opportunities, facility requests, shift activity, and account notifications.

BackApp does not guarantee a specific number of messages.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

Recipients may opt out of BackApp SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to a BackApp text message.

After opting out, the recipient will receive an opt-out confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications from that messaging program unless they provide new consent.

7. Help and Support

Recipients may reply HELP to a BackApp text message for assistance.
