Step 3: Completion of requirements and documentation.

Step 4: Job placement. We will match you with our partner facilities with your skill set and experience.

Step 5: It does not end in placing you. We will work with you with your career goals and help you MOVE UP!

RN Express offers full time, part time and per diem positions. Your preference can be discussed with our team during your application process.

For Foreign Based Nurses:

Step 1:
Application of Prevailing Wage Determination (U.S. Department of Labor)

Step 2:
Employer’s petition via I-140 application (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services)

Step 3:
Application Processed Outside the United States
a. National Visa Center
b. DS-260

Application Processed Within the United States
a. I-485 Application to Register for Permanent Residence or Adjustment of Status
b. I-785 Application for Employment Authorization

A step-by-step guide on how to become a USRN:

Complete the educational requirement and have a nursing experience.
– Must have at least Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
– Complete the Licensing requirements in your home country.

Pass your NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination).
– Preferred: New York State http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/nurse/nursing.htm

Apply for Visa Screen: https://www.cgfns.org/cerpassweb/login.jsp
– Make sure you already have your NCLEX License and you’ve passed your English Language Proficiency test (TOEFL/IELTS).

You are ready to be filed for an Immigration Petition!
– Submit all the required documents to us.

A step-by-step guide on applying and registering for the NCLEX Exam:

Step 1:
Apply for Licensure with the New York State Office of the Professions (Form 1)

Step 2:
Ask your school to verify your education directly to he New York State Education (Form 2) – Please choose the form applicable to you.

Step 3:
Register and pay for the NCLEX at Pearson VUE.

Step 4:
You’ll receive an authorization to take and schedule your NCLEX Exam.

A step-by-step guide on applying for the Visa Screen:

Step 1:
Create a CGFNS Connect Account and apply online.

Step 2:
Upload a passport sized photo.

Step 3:
Request for your English language proficiency result (TOEFL/IELTS) to be forwarded directly to CGFNS (English Exam Score Requirement)

Step 4:
a. Request for validation of all Nursing licensures and registration (for foreign and US based nurses) to be forwarded directly to CGFNS.
b. Request for academic records and transcript (secondary, tertiary and post-grad) to be forwarded directly to CGFNS.

A step-by-step guide for licensed US based nurses who wants to work in New York:

You must submit the following:

Application for Licensure (Form 1).
Certification of Professional Education (Form 2).
Verification of Other Professional Licensure/Certification (Form 3) OR Nursys online verification of licensure for all other states where license is held.
* Additional coursework in Child Abuse Reporting and/or Infection Control may be required.
